We only collect and store the personal data required to deliver the services we offer.

2. What We Collect

When you contact us or work with us, we may store:

Your name, email address, and invoice information
Technical contact details (e.g., WireGuard keys or IPs)
System or service configuration required for setup and support

We do not use:

Cookies (except for basic session functionality on the client login portal)
Tracking scripts
Advertising identifiers

3. Data Storage and Retention

Your data is:

Stored on encrypted systems controlled by Lother Consulting
Never shared with third parties unless required by law
Retained only as long as necessary for support and accounting purposes

You may request deletion or correction of your data at any time by contacting us.

4. Hosting Locations

All hosted services are located in data centers within the European Union, using providers such as Hetzner (Germany) or similar EU-based vendors.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to all services provided by Lother Consulting, including technical consulting, infrastructure setup, hosted services, and ongoing support.

2. Services

Lother Consulting provides:

Technical consulting and project planning
Remote infrastructure setup and automation
Hosting of specific services on dedicated virtual machines
Remote support for systems hosted by the client

A service agreement (contract or email confirmation) will define what is delivered. Lother Consulting does not offer 24/7 SLA or emergency support unless explicitly agreed.

3. Hosting Terms

For services hosted by Lother Consulting:

Each client receives an isolated VM or containerized service
Regular updates, backups, and security measures are included
Bandwidth, CPU, RAM, and disk usage may be subject to fair usage and quoted limits
Hosted services are billed monthly with a 3-month cancellation period unless otherwise agreed

Lother Consulting does not provide shared application hosting. All hosted services are operated on a per-client basis.

4. Support & Maintenance

Support subscriptions cover:

System updates
Backup checks
Remote access troubleshooting

Workload-specific updates or new features are billed separately.

5. Limitation of Liability

Lother Consulting is not liable for:

Data loss caused by client misconfiguration
Downtime on third-party networks or internet providers
Incidents outside of agreed support or maintenance scopes

Liability for any damages is limited to the total amount paid by the client in the last 3 months of service.

6. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed:

All prices are exclusive of VAT
Invoices are issued via email
Late payments may result in service suspension
